First residents move into Cadley Park development
Our first residents are settling into their new affordable homes in Swadlincote after we agreed a £3.6m partnership deal with housing developer Avant Homes East Midlands.
The 16 new energy-efficient homes at Cadley Park comprise of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties.
This is the first partnership we have secured with Avant Homes and marks the first time the housing developer has undertaken a deal of this type in the region.
Charlie Riley, Development Director at Trent & Dove, said:
“We’re delighted to partner with Avant Homes to deliver 16 new affordable homes for our customers. Our partnerships help us to provide homes where our customers need them most.
“We’re able to accelerate our housing delivery in Swadlincote through our strategic partnership with Homes England, which is managed via Orbit Homes.”
The sale forms part of Avant Homes’ multi-tenure strategy, which includes providing homes for private sale, the private rental sector (PRS), and additional affordable housing.
