At Trent & Dove, we are committed to maintaining thriving, safe homes and communities, and we recognise that domestic abuse can have a devastating impact upon its victims, their family and friends, and on our wider communities.

Trent & Dove has a ‘zero tolerance’ position on domestic abuse. We are committed to supporting any person who is experiencing domestic abuse and will work closely with our partner agencies to ensure that the appropriate safeguards are put in place and that the victim’s rights and wishes are respected.

We recognise that the safety of the victim and their family is paramount and we will do all we can to ensure that they are protected.

What do I do if I am experiencing domestic abuse at home?

If you are one of our tenants, please talk to us. You can contact your Housing Officer or our Safeguarding Team on our main number, 01283 528 528.

We can support you to take action against the perpetrator, and to make your home safer. We can put you in touch with other agencies that can support you.

If the abuse is happening now, or a crime has been committed, please call the police on 999 (or 101 in a non-emergency).

Our Accreditations

White Ribbon Logo

We are a White Ribbon accredited organisation. White Ribbon is the UK’s leading charity engaging men and boys to end violence against women and girls.

Our aim is to prevent violence against women and girls by addressing its root causes. We work with men and boys to change long-established, and harmful, attitudes, systems and behaviours around rigid gender norms and masculinity that perpetuate inequality and violence.

We have also signed the Chartered Institute of Housing's Make a Stand Pledge and in doing so, have committed to take action to support people experiencing domestic abuse.

We aim to commence our DAHA accredition by April 2025.
