It might only be October, but we’re already getting ready to bring a little festive magic to our community!
Each year, with the support of our amazing partners, we send out festive boxes to families across our community. This year, we’d love to make them extra special - and that’s where you come in!
We’re inviting young people aged 16 and under to design a festive tag to decorate our Christmas boxes. It’s a fun and creative activity to enjoy during the school holidays!
How to get involved
1. Pick up a tag from one of our Warm Spaces cafés:
104–106 Short Street, Stapenhill DE15 9LT
181 Hawfield Lane, Winshill DE15 0BY
Check out our cafe opening times here.

Places of Welcome is a national organisation that started in Birmingham to unite communities and combat social isolation.
Its success meant it has expanded across the UK.
Trent & Dove became involved after we were asked by Places of Welcome (POW) to open our own POW.
Aligning with our long-held ambition to transform homes, lives and communities, POWs support community spaces to offer a safe and friendly environment where everyone can socialise and contribute.
Every POW must provide an accessible venue and a free hot drink with a light bite.
You're very welcome to pop into one of our POWS:
— Every Monday morning. 10am to 12pm at the Burton Boxing Club, Bradmore Road, Burton, DE13 0GH
— Every Wednesday morning, 10am to 12pm at the Branston Scout HQ, 37 Main St, Branston, DE14 3EY
Also see our Warm Spaces page for what's on at our community cafes at 181 Hawfield Lane, Winshill and at our Short Street Cafe.
